Payment inquiries

When will I receive my course materials?

You will receive your course materials once we have received your booking and payment.

How should one pay for the course or workshop?

As soon as you have selected the course, date, and which training you will attend, we will send an invoice to your email with all the information you need to pay via bankgiro.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, you can pay in installments over 6 or 12 months. Contact us for more information.

General Questions

Do you need a personal trainer and nutrition license to work at a gym?

You need the personal trainer and nutrition licenses not only to work at a gym but also to rent space at a gym and to run your own business as a legitimate and professional personal trainer.

If you fail an exam, you will have the opportunity to retake it without any additional fees.

If you fail a part of the exam, you only need to retake that specific part, and we do not charge any fees for retakes.

Do I have to attend all modules and every day?

Yes, you must — attendance for all modules and days is mandatory.

If I get sick and cannot attend a day or module, what happens?

If you miss a certain part of the course or a day, you will be invited back to complete that part or day during the next course session at no extra cost.

How much can a skilled full-time personal trainer earn per month?

A skilled personal trainer can earn an average of 45,000–60,000 SEK per month as an employee (working 100–120 hours per month), but as a self-employed trainer, a skilled PT can earn 80,000–100,000 SEK per month for the same amount of time.

If you are employed, can you work for two different gym chains?

No, if you are employed by NW, you cannot be employed by another gym chain (this is called a non-compete agreement).

Which do you think is best to start with, employment or being self-employed?

Both options have their pros and cons, and we will discuss these topics during the training. But my short answer is that if you follow my advice during and after the course, you should choose to become self-employed.
