Workshop – Bodybuilding

This workshop explores the hypertrophic adaptations of skeletal muscle from physiological, molecular, and biomechanical perspectives. Drawing on current peer-reviewed research, we will delve into the mechanisms that govern muscle growth and how these can be translated into practical, evidence-based training programming.

The workshop aims to provide personal trainers with a deeper understanding of the interplay between mechanical load, cellular signaling, training volume, intensity, recovery, and individual factors that influence hypertrophy. The focus is not only on what works in bodybuilding, but above all on why and under what conditions different strategies produce results.

The content is based on scientific literature in the fields of exercise physiology, muscle physiology, and strength training, and links the current state of research to practical tools for optimizing training for muscle development.
