Three different types

There are as many postures as there are people, but they are usually classified into three types: Posterior type – Normal type – Anterior type
Each posture creates different tensions throughout the body and produces a range of associated symptoms, both somatic and visceral

- tight hamstrings
- bent knees
- weight on the heels

Anterior type
- alternating thoracic pull
- increased cervical lordosis
- tight quadriceps
- straightened knees
- weight on the front foot
- alternating abdominal pressure
Standard type
- correct thoracic pressure
- correct abdominal pressure
- the weight of the entire foot
